Who are we? We are a volunteer run community venue, servicing events anywhere from music shows to weddings to your golden birthday bash! 

How do I book events? To book an event, head to our homepage and locate the link to our events booking form, which includes details on event requirements, preferences, and any specific needs you may have. Our dedicated team will promptly review your submission and follow up with you.

Is there an age restriction for events? Event age restrictions vary. Check the event details or contact us for specific information about age requirements.

What equipment can I expect to have access too? Behringer Xenyx QX2442USB mixer, 2 speakers with stands, 2 XLR microphones, 2 microphone stands, power cables, quarter inch, XLR, and other various cables. Please be sure to communicate ahead of time if equipment is needed for your event.

Bag/Coat Check? We do have a coat rack but we do not take any responsibility for the security of your possessions, we recommend keeping your valuables secure at all times.

Lost and Found? We do have a designated lost and found so if you think you may have left something here, please reach out and we will do our best to assist you in recovering your possessions. 

Will there be a door person?This requires extra staffing so if you’d like to have one of our staff run the door, please request in advance and we can arrange for someone to facilitate entry, answer questions, and ensure a smooth check-in process.

I can’t make my show, what would be the best way to reschedule? We will do our best to reschedule you for the soonest available day that works for you, but we ask that you submit another event form and directly reach out to us at sewardshows@gmail.com

Will I have a guaranteed sound technician? No, equipment will be set up but you must specifically request someone if you need a live audio engineer.

No Tolerance policy: Seward Cafe maintains a strict no-tolerance policy to ensure the safety, well-being, and enjoyment of all our guests. We are committed to providing a secure and inclusive environment for everyone attending events at our venue. Our no-tolerance policy encompasses a range of behaviors, including but not limited to:

  • Violence: Any form of physical harm or threat of harm to others will not be tolerated.
  • Harassment: Harassment of any kind, including but not limited to verbal, physical, or sexual harassment, is strictly prohibited.
  • Illegal substances: The use, possession, or distribution of illegal substances is strictly forbidden.
  • Disruptive behavior: Any disruptive behavior that negatively impacts the experience of others or the smooth operation of the event is not allowed.
  • Discrimination: Discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religion, or any other characteristic is unacceptable.

If you witness or experience any behavior that violates our no-tolerance policy, please report it immediately to our on-site security or event staff. We take all reports seriously and will address them promptly.
