Seward Cafe needs your help.
We cannot continue to operate the way we have been. These past few weeks when we haven’t been deep cleaning the kitchen, we have been planning, strategizing, and organizing. We are excited about future shows and benefits (keep your eye out for those!).
We are raising $22k to cover property tax, sales and use tax, and interest on back taxes. Any additional funding will go toward insurance and legal fees. Please go to our fundraising page at ko-fi.com/sewardcafe
We are asking not just for monetary help, but also community support. We rely on our community to show up for events, bring friends, enjoy our space, and also volunteer their time and expertise. If you have experience with taxes, please reach out to us!
Additionally, this push for Seward’s future is going to take a lot. In our 52 years of existence, Seward Cafe has been a lot of things for a lot of people.
